I was a Professional Ballet Dancer for thirteen years.  My dancing career gave me a love of travel and discovering new places so I decided, after my stage career, to go into the tourism industry.  In 2009 I qualified as a Blue Badge Tourist Guide.  The Blue Badge is the highest qualification of the Institute of Tourist Guiding.  I am a member of the Institute of Tourist Guiding and the Guild of Registered Tourist Guides.  Blue Badge Guides are the elite of the tourist guides in the U.K undergoing two years of extensive training.

 

I am a member of All Souls Church, Langham Place where I lead a Fellowship Group and I am a table leader on their Christianity Explored Course. On graduating from the Blue Badge Course, I decided I would like to specialize in doing Christian tours.  I felt there were many people who would like to know more of the history of Christianity in the U.K, to learn about the people who shaped its development and to enjoy our great cathedral and church architecture from a Christian perspective with a Christian tour guide.

Booking and Contact Details

 

A half day tour, site visit or walk costs £127 for your group (two people upwards). Walks are two hours long. A full day tour costs £200 ( these are the minimum rates set by the Guild of Registered Tourist Guides). From 1st April 2012 prices will be increasing to £136 for a half day and £210 for a full day tour. For prices of day tours involving coach travel and for extended tour prices please contact me. 

 

Explore and Discover Tours specializes in private tours for small groups but I am also very happy to take large groups.
